Darth Vader’s first on-screen appearance is in a corridor in spaceship Tantive IV in STAR WARS (1977). The famous ship hallway is also featured in REVENGE OF THE SITH (2005) and ROGUE ONE (2016).
And finally, after all this time, it has achieved toy-status thanks to Hasbro’s “Vintage Collection” line.
Oh, yes.
Let’s take a look at the box.

It comes with an exclusive Rebel Fleet Trooper figure.

Assembly is required, but only takes about two minutes. It comes apart easily so it can be placed back in the box for storage. (Not the case with all toys – sometimes once they’re snapped together, good luck ever getting them apart again.)

If you ask me, this thing is just begging for some action-figure photo ops, so let’s get to it.
Fortunately, I recently acquired the Hasbro Pulse exclusive Rebel Fleet Trooper 4-pack and…

…the new Darth Vader figure from the Disney Plus Obi-Wan show to help my Tantive IV pictures out. And I have to say, out of the 100+ Vader figures that have been made over the years, this one is the absolute best I’ve seen.

Okay, it’s time to set up some figures, and we’ll see how the pictures turn out.

As you can see, the set works well for creating cool action-figure photos.
It can also be used as a display on a shelf or counter.

The Tantive IV playset is a fun addition to anyone’s STAR WARS collection.
Thank you for reading.
