A Hasbro Pulse exclusive, the Cantina Adventure Set was released last year in the Vintage Collection line.
It comes with four figures and a cardboard backdrop.
It’s based on the Sears exclusive set from 1978. I never had the original, but here we see it in Mark Bellomo’s “The Ultimate Guide to Vintage Star Wars Action Figures 1977-1985.”
The 1978 Sears set came with the same Hammerhead, Greedo, and Walrus Man figures that were sold separately in the main line. The Snaggletooth figure, however, was taller than the main line release and also had a blue outfit instead of a red one. This makes the blue Snaggletooth pretty valuable, having only been released with this exclusive Sears set.
As a tribute to this rare figure, the Snaggletooth in this 2025 re-release has a blue outfit. The other three figures are also given color schemes that match the 1978 action figure versions of their characters. I love seeing this retro look on these new figures!
The cardboard backdrop looks dead on like the 1978 original.
