G.I. JOE #255 came out last week, and the special tri-fold cover by John Royle is fantastic.
The original G.I. JOE series, written by Larry Hama and published by Marvel (1982-1994), lasted for 155 issues. In 2010, Larry Hama picked up the story where he left off with #156, this time published by IDW.
With the release of #255, this marks 100 issues at IDW, which is the reason for this tri-fold cover.
If you were ever a fan of G.I. JOE, you might want to go to your local comic shop and pick this up. Even if you haven’t been following the story, this cover is worth the price alone!
Until next time, this is ToyDust signing off!
