The first PEANUTS strip came out October 2, 1950, and the final strip was released on February 13, 2000. You have to admire the dedication of Charles Schulz sticking to a daily comic schedule for nearly 50 years.
My favorite era of the comic is late 1960s thru the early 80s.

It came out in newspapers the morning after Charles Schulz passed away. His comic strip survived him by a few hours.
