I have a lot of fun memories of checking books out from the library with my family as a kid, and Dr. Suess was a constant draw. My favorites were THE KING’S STILTS, BARTHOLOMEW AND THE OOBLECK, THE 500 HATS OF BARTHOLOMEW CUBBINS, HORTON HEARS A WHO, HORTON HATCHES THE EGG, HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS, and YERTLE THE TURTLE.
At some point, it occurred to me that instead of checking them out over and over again, it would be good to have my own copies and I started asking for Dr. Suess for Christmas and birthdays.
Not the complete list – not even close, but here’s what I have. Most have been in my collection for decades.

I love reading these stories over and over.

Thanks for reading!

Lovely collection. I have fond memories as a kid of hiring the Seuss books from our local library. Green Eggs and Ham, One fish two fish…, Cat in the Hat, and The Zax were my favourites 😎
Thanks! I forgot about One fish two fish!
