Danny Elfman’s 2002 SPIDER-MAN Soundtrack on Vinyl for First Time

The original Sam Raimi/Tobey Maguire SPIDER-MAN movie turned 20 this year, and to commemorate the occasion Sony Classical released the soundtrack on vinyl for the first time. Let’s take a look.

Love the cover, taken of course from the film’s outstanding poster.

And the most important part – the music itself. Danny Elfman really hit this one out of the park.

It even comes with a two-sided poster.

And it makes for a nice backdrop for figure set-ups.

SPIDER-MAN was the highest grossing movie of 2002, beating the STAR WARS, LORD OF THE RINGS, and HARRY POTTER films of that year. No small feat. The soundtrack deserves to finally have a top-notch vinyl release after all this time, and Sony Classical does not disappoint. So put your Spidey mask on and crank it up!
