ZOMBIE KID! Written by J. Scott Savage and published in 2013 by HarperCollins. Recommended for ages 8 to 12.

Nick is super excited to go trick-or-treating with his friends, but is forced to travel to Louisiana for his great-aunt’s funeral instead. He thinks this will be the most boring Halloween ever until he discovers his deceased aunt was a voodoo queen, and accidentally brings a curse upon himself – slowly turning him into a zombie.

And things just get crazier from there.

Filled with suspense, crazy antics, and comedy, ZOMBIE KID is a fantastic read for any time of year – especially at Halloween!

ZOMBIE KID is the first title in the CASE FILE 13 series, and is followed by three other highly entertaining adventures.
