Sammy Hagar teamed up with Joe Satriani, Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham, and Rai Thistlethwayte for the Best of All Worlds tour.
Rai alternated between keyboards and rhythm guitar and provided additional background vocals, making for a fuller live experience. (On Sammy’s previous tour, they used prerecorded keyboards.)
The set list consisted mostly of Van Halen songs with some Sammy solo tracks sprinkled in. Joe also played Satch Boogie from his solo repertoire.
Here’s some pictures of the show we caught and they sounded amazing with a truly spectacular set list.
I picked up a couple shirts from the show.
The Best of All Worlds tour continues this April and May as a Las Vegas residency.
