SHREDDERMAN by Wendelin Van Draanen

It’s always fun to re-read my set of SHREDDERMAN books! I still have my original hardcover copies I bought when they first came out.

The series is now twenty years old, with book one having been released in February 2004. Book two followed in August of the same year, with books three and four coming out in January and May of 2005.

5th-grader Nolan creates a website and a secret online identity to take down a bully at school. As the series progresses, his online persona takes on larger challenges until things get out of hand, attracting national attention.

Nolan is a super likable character, there’s tons of terrific comedy, and never a dull moment. Also, there’s plenty of fun illustrations by Brian Biggs throughout each book.

SHREDDERMAN was published by Knopf and written by Wendelin Van Draanen.
