It’s time for another book recommendation, so here we go:
JOURNEY was published by Candlewick Press in 2013 and won the Caldecott Medal.
A girl opens a doorway to another land with a red marker and goes on an adventure!
The illustrations are outstanding and I love the spirit of adventure. I’m not going to say much about the story – you’ll have to pick the book up if you want to know more!
A follow-up, QUEST, was published in 2014.
And RETURN was released in 2016, in which the girl’s father follows her into the other land.
