Hasbro needed 8,000 backers before they would make it, and got over 26,000, making it one of the most successful HasLab projects to date.
The HasLab HISS Tank is made to scale with the 6-inch Classified figures and it’s huge. I preordered mine in August 2022 and it finally arrived December 2023. Talk about a long wait, but well worth it.
Check out the outstanding box art.

And there’s no way I’m not going to open this beauty!
There are two boxes inside – one for the four exclusive 6-inch figures and one for the tank.

Walking on air from the figures alone, and haven’t got to the tank itself yet.
Speaking of which…

Very little assembly is needed, and soon it’s ready for some play time!

I throw Serpentor, Firefly, and a Python Patrol Cobra Soldier into the next shot. Also, I switch to an alternate canopy that it came with.

After some setups with the Classified figures, I wondered how this would look with the smaller 3.75-inch figures. With the canopy closed, the oversized seat wouldn’t be that noticeable, and if I put something in the turret for the smaller figures to stand on…
And with the smaller, classic sized figures it seems even more massive.
With original 1980s figures:

I love that three figures can fit into the turret when using the smaller scale.
With modern 3.75-inch figures:

Switching back to the original ‘80s figures, here are some shots paying tribute to Marvel’s G.I. Joe #76, the conclusion to the Cobra Civil War storyline, from 1988.
Serpentor had captured the Baroness and tied her to the HISS tank.

During the final battle of the Cobra Civil War, Serpentor is taken down by an arrow shot by Zartan!

The HasLab HISS Tank is one of the most impressive vehicles from the G.I. Joe line that Hasbro has ever made.
It looks amazing on display and has tons of great play value as well.
