Rocky Toys!

There have been various ROCKY toys released over the years. The ones I have are the 7-inch-scale figures made by JAKKS Pacific in 2006 and ’07.

(If you haven’t seen ROCKY II, Rocky dresses like a caveman while attempting to do commercials, and yes, they actually made a figure of this, though in a limited amount.)

As you can see, JAKKS did a good job putting details on the figures such as the Shamrock meat sign on the back of Rocky’s first robe and the Italian Stallion logo on the back of his second robe.

Some of the face sculpts are quite good, resembling the actors, such as Paulie and Mick. The Spider Rico face sculpt looks nothing like the guy in the film, though, but oh well.

ROCKY III is my favorite film in the series, so I was especially excited when JAKKS got to this wave. Love the Clubber Lang figures, but was disappointed they didn’t make the Thunderlips figure significantly taller than the others.

And they made a champion belt that you can wear!

I’m hoping JAKKS Pacific will make some figures from the CREED movies that are compatible with these, but so far no such luck.

  1. Thanks for sharing so many great pics. Some of the details in the figures are outstanding while others are a bit meh – bit like the Star Wars 6″ Black Series, hit and miss but mostly hit! It’s good to see these Rocky lines as I recently picked up a couple of ads for them.

    1. Glad you enjoyed the pictures! I agree that the details are hit and miss with these, but over all a good line of figures.
